ପାଣିର ସୁଅରେ ଭାସି ଭାସି ବୋରଝାଞ୍ଜିର ସେଇ ଦଳ ଯେତିକି ଆଗକୁ ଆଗକୁ ଯାଉଥିଲେ, ସୁମୀ ସେତିକି ଖୁସିରେ ପାଣିରେ ଢେଉ ଦେଉଥିଲା l ଆଜି ଜେଜେମାଆଙ୍କର କଥାର ମର୍ମ ସେ ବୁଝିପାରିଛି l ବୋରଝାଞ୍ଜି ଦଳ ଭଳି ସେ ନିଜେ ଆଜି ଭାସି ଚାଲିଛି l ଜାଣେନା କେତେ ବାଟ ଯିବ, ଆଉ କୋଉ କୂଳରେ ଲାଗିବ  ।

As the cluster of water hyacinths floated forward on the water, Sumi gleefully splashed in the waves. Today, she truly understood the essence of her grandmother's words. Like the drifting hyacinth cluster, she too was floating along. She didn't know how far the path would lead or to which shore she might eventually arrive.
