ମୋ ଉପନ୍ୟାସ ବିଷୟରେ ପଦେଅଧେ

       ପ୍ରଥମରୁ କହି ରଖୁଛି ଯେ ମୋର ଏହି ଉପନ୍ୟାସ ବନ୍ଧୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ମୋର କଳ୍ପନା ପ୍ରସୂତ । ଏହାର ଚରିତ୍ରଗୁଡିକ ମୋର ମାନସ ଚରିତ୍ର । ତେଣୁ କାହାର ବି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ଜୀବନ ସହିତ ଯଦି ମିଶୁଛି, ସେଥିରେ ମୋର କିଛି କରିବାର ନାହିଁ । ହଁ... ଏତିକି କହି ରଖିବି ଯେ, ଏହି ଉପନ୍ୟାସର ଚରିତ୍ରମାନେ ଏହି ସମାଜରେ ହିଁ ଅଛନ୍ତି, କୌଣସି ନା କୌଣସି ରୂପରେ । ଆମେ ସବୁବେଳେ ଛବିର ଗୋଟିଏ ଦିଗ ଦେଖିଥାଉ । କିନ୍ତୁ କୌଣସି ନିଷ୍କର୍ଷରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସବୁ ବିଷୟରେ ଅବଗତ ହେଲେ ହିଁ କୌଣସି ଭୁଲ ବୁଝାମଣା ହୋଇନଥାଏ ଓ ଜୀବନ ସୁଖମୟ ହୋଇଥାଏ । ଏହା ହିଁ ଏହି ଉପନ୍ୟାସର ମୂଳ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ।

A few words about my novel

Let me begin by saying that this novel Bandhu is entirely a product of my imagination. Its characters are born of my mind. So if they happen to resemble anyone’s real life, that is purely coincidental and beyond my intent.

Yes… I must say this — the characters in this novel do exist in our society, in one form or another. We often look at just one side of an image. But only when we become aware of all aspects can we avoid misunderstandings and lead a more peaceful life.

That is the core message of this novel.
